Who's Speaking?

Alice Lester spent 20 years working for three different London authorities, in Development Control, before joining the Planning Advisory Service in 2004. 

Prior to becoming the Head of the West Northamptonshire Joint Planning Unit at the New Year I spent 2 years leading the a team in the Luton and South Bedfordshire Joint Technical Unit. 

On 14 May 2010 Bob Neill MP was appointed Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at Communities and Local Government.

Steve Quartermain was educated at Lord Williams Grammar School, Thame, before reading Geography at St Chads College, Durham University.

His first job as a trainee planner was at Epping Forest District council where he completed his post-graduate qualification in Environmental Planning in 1984.

David Hackforth is President of the Planning Officers Society (POS), the organisation that represents senior public sector Planners in England. David has held senior Planning posts at Milton Keynes Council since 1992 and is currently Chief Planner, Special Projects. He previously worked in South Bedfordshire, Chorley and Wigan.
